How long does the procedure take?

When can I return to work?

When can I exercise again?

Does sexual function change?
The procedure is not intended to change erections, orgasm or sexual sensation.
Does hormone production change?
A vasectomy affects the vas deferens and is not intended to change the body’s own hormone production.
Is a vasectomy effective immediately?
The contraceptive effect must be confirmed medically after the procedure. Another method of contraception is required until then.
What follow-up checks are required?
The practice will explain the type and timing of the intended follow-up examinations. Additional contraception can only be adjusted after medical confirmation.
Can a vasectomy be reversed?
A vasectomy should generally be regarded as a permanent decision. A later restoration of fertility cannot be assumed or guaranteed.
